UV INTENSITY METERS (RADIOMETERS)

UVP meters ensure maximum operating efficiency of UV light sources. The measurement of the lamp irradiance is the most effective way to monitor the useful life of any UV light source. The durable, plastic housings of the UV meters are impact-resistant and can withstand heavy, sustained use.

J-SERIES ANALOG UV METERS   UVX DIGITAL RADIOMETERS
The J-Series UV meters are photovoltaic devices for taking accurate and repeatable readings of UV light sources in either the 365nm or 254nm UV range.   This digital UVX Radiometer is used with one of the three interchangeable sensors (ordered separately) for measuring 254nm, 365nm and 302nm UV wavelengths. Measurement of lamp irradiance is the most effective way to monitor the useful life of any UV light source.

     FEATURES

  • J-225 Meter measures the intensity of shortwave UV (254nm). Each meter comes with a sensor, attenuation screen and filter. This meter's sensor is sensitive within a range from 220 to 280nm with maximum sensitivity at 254nm
  • J-221 Meter measures the intensity of longwave UV (365nm). The sensor is sensitive from 300 to 400nm with a peak sensitivity at 365nm. J-221 Meter complies with MIL STD 45662-A and can be found in MIL-I-6868D (NSN 6635-488-5451)
  • Each meter features two scales for low and high intensity readings
  • For remote readings, a four foot (1.2m) cord connects the sensor to the meter
  • Two scales measure a wide range of intensity
  • An infrared filter assures accurate readings when measuring light sources producing infrared radiation
  • The 5X attenuation screen can be used for very high intensity lamp measurements
  • Meters are self-powered for maximum portability

     FEATURES

  • Order from three sensors: UVX-25 shortwave, UVX-31 midrange or UVX-36 longwave
  • The chart recorder port, standard on the UVX, allows for continuous monitoring
  • The UVX's range switch provides selection from three intensity ranges:
    0 to 20 mW/cm2, 0 to 2000 microW/cm2 and 0 to 200 microW/cm2
  • The 10:1 attenuator extends the reading range up to 200mW/cm2
  • The UVX Radiometer is powered by a 9-volt battery for up to 120 hours
  • Unit includes a port for attachment of a chart recorder (user provided)
